In two different games with similar frigid conditions, Brown and Harvard completed their championship seasons with wins to share the 2008 Ivy League Football title.

With Brown’s 45-16 rout of Dartmouth and Harvard’s 24-21 thrilling win over Penn this Saturday, the Ivy League Football title will come down to the final weekend.
Brown and Harvard enter the last Saturday of the 2008 season each at 5-1. The Bears host Columbia at 1 p.m. while The Crimson welcomes Yale at Noon in the 125th edition of The Game and The Ivy League Game of the Week, Presented by TIAA-CREF. Read the rest of this entry

They’re going out of their way to compliment us this holiday season by advertising online and calling their store “Ivysport.com”. While we love the flattery, we really wish Dartmouthcoop.com would not mislead consumers.
Dartmouth’s endowment fell 6 percent, or $220 million, in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, which began July 1 and ended Sept. 30, Ed Haldeman ‘70, chairman of the Board of Trustees, said in an interview with The Dartmouth. The Board learned of the drop, which now leaves the endowment at $3.44 billion, during its November meeting last weekend, but the extent of the endowment’s October decline is not yet available, according to College President James Wright.
